Ron Couzens Shield Order of Merit

For each of the 6 monthly competitions (April - September) the top 10 scores will get Order of Merit points as shown below

1st 20 Points

2nd 17 Points

3rd 15 Points

4th 13 Points

5th 11 Points

6th 9 Points

7th 7 Points

8th 5 Points

9th 3 Points

10th 1 Point  

In the event of  players scoring the same stableford points or nett score in the monthly competition stableford points or nett score count back over the last 9, 6, 3 and 1 holes will decide the placing for order of merit points. 

April will be a stableford competition the remaining competitions medal format. 

0-28 handicap will play from white tee markers. 29-36 handicap will play from yellow tee markers.

Person with the most Order of Merit points after all 6 competitions will be the Ron Couzens Shield Order of Merit winner.

In the event of a tie after all 6 competitions the most points scored in the final competition in September will be the winner.
